What airspace settings and display are
SeeYou Navigator shows different airspace zones on the map from controlled zones (CTR) to prohibited areas. Airspace settings control which zone types and classes appear, the data source, and altitude filtering. Use settings and the map layers panel to adjust the display.
How to configure airspace display
1. Select visible classes
In Visible Airspace Classes, choose which classes and types of airspace appear on the map: A, B, C, D, E, F, G
- Open Settings > Airspace > Visible Airspace Classes.
- Enable or disable classes and types using toggles.
- Some classes are Always Visible and cannot be turned off.
- Use Reset to Defaults to restore standard settings for your sport.

2. Hide zones above a specific altitude
- Open Settings > Airspace.
- Find Hide airspace above altitude.
- Enable the option and set an altitude (meters, feet, or FL).
All zones above this altitude will be hidden and will not generate warnings.

3. Configure airspace data source
Select where Navigator loads airspace data:
- SeeYou Database: automatically updated database (recommended)
- Custom Airspace: your own .cub (SeeYou) or .txt (OpenAir) files
To add custom files:
- Enable Custom Airspace.
- Tap Add airspace file.
- Select a .cub or .txt file.
- Enable the file in the list using the toggle.
4. Manage hidden zones
- Open Settings > Airspace > Hidden airspaces.
- View temporarily hidden zones and their hide duration.
- Use Unhide all airspaces to restore all zones.

How map displays airspaces
Colors and styles
- Red: classes A, C, prohibited zones, TFRs
- Blue: classes B, D, E, F, G, CTR, danger zones, glider sectors, others
During flight
- Enabled zones are visible according to zoom level.
- Disabled zones are never shown.
- The map hides zones above the set altitude and doesn’t trigger warnings for them.
- Hidden zones remain on the map but do not generate alerts until hide duration ends.

Troubleshooting
Zones not showing
- Verify selected classes and types in Settings > Airspace > Visible Airspace Classes.
- Make sure you zoom the map in enough.
- Check the data source in Settings > Airspace > Airspace Data Source.
- Move the map to a region with known airspace (e.g., near a major airport).
Too many zones
- Disable unnecessary classes in Visible Airspace Classes.
- Enable Hide airspace above altitude to remove high zones.
- Zoom out to reduce clutter.
Warnings not appearing
- Make sure you enable the relevant class or type.
- Ensure the zone is not in Hidden airspaces.
- For paragliding, verify Altitude Source (barometric or GPS) in Airspace settings.
