Configuring Maps and Terrains

How do I change the way the terrain maps display?

It is crucial to remember that in order too preserve certain setting in an Oudie one has to always save their setting once they have manipulated them in a way that suits them. 

You can view which file is used to generate the terrain displayed on your map view.

Find this option via: Menu > Settings > Next > Files. 

Because terrain files are always loaded automatically from the world wide terrain maps depending upon your GPS discovered location, this option is usually greyed out in Oudie.

The visual presentation of the terrain Map can be changed and selected from many styles.

Find this option via: Menu > Settings > Next > Next > Map. 

Then select a ‘ Scheme’ to view.
