Hike & Fly Task

What is Hike & Fly?

Hike & Fly is a special task type designed for multi-segment adventures where you alternate between flying and hiking. Unlike regular tasks that reset after each landing, Hike & Fly keeps your progress as you land, hike to new locations, and take off again. It is perfect for alpine expeditions and mountain adventures.

How It Works

When you activate a Hike & Fly task:

  • Continuous recording: The app records your activity from the moment you start until you stop it
  • Persistent progress: The task keeps running through landings and saves your progress when you touch down
  • Automatic resumption: The task automatically resumes from your last turnpoint when you restart the app
  • Multi-segment tracking: The app tracks each flight and hike as part of one continuous task

How to Use Hike & Fly

  1. Create a task: Select Hike & Fly as the task type when creating your task (tap Task type and select Hike & Fly) or just start your adventure by tapping on the H&F button on the top left corner.
