Connect Oudie N or SeeYou Navigator on your smartphone to Condor or SeeYou. Navigate around Condor missions or learn to use Oudie N / SeeYou Navigator in the comfort of your home.

Installation instructions

Naviter Condor Dongle is not recognized automatically in Windows. You must install drivers for this dongle before first use.

  1. Install USB to Serial drivers on your PC
    1. Download CP210x Universal Windows Driver
    2. Open the downloaded ZIP package (double click in Windows Explorer)
    3. Unzip the folder to your hard drive
    4. Open the folder where you unzipped the files
    5. Right click on the silabser.inf file and select Install
    6. Follow the instructions to complete the installation
  2. Run Condor
  3. Go to Setup > Options > NMEA Output
  4. Enable NMEA Output
  5. Choose the COM port associated with the Condor Dongle (normally COM3 or similar)
  6. Start flying with Condor. Only now, the data stream becomes available and Dongle is activated
  7. Run SeeYou Navigator or Oudie N
  8. Go to Menu > Devices
  9. Wait until see “Naviter BLE” appears in the list of discovered devices
  10. Tap on “Naviter BLE
  11. Wait until it displays a “connected” message

Done. The Naviter Condor Dongle is set up and ready to use.

Normal operation

Once the First time installation was done, flying with Naviter Condor dongle is easy.

  1. Make sure Condor Dongle is plugged into the computer
  2. Run Condor and start flying
  3. Run SeeYou Navigator or Oudie N after flying starts in Condor

The Condor Dongle will connect automatically each time.

Renaming the Dongle

In an environment where several dongles are visible to SeeYou Navigator, giving your Dongle a unique name is a good idea. Renaming the Naviter Bluetooth Dongle is easy with SeeYou Navigator.

This procedure assumes you have already paired the Naviter Bluetooth Dongle with SeeYou Navigator. If you did not, read above for instructions.

  1. Run SeeYou Navigator.
  2. Go to Menu > Devices.
  3. Make sure “Naviter BLE” is paired and connected.
  4. Tap on “Naviter BLE” device to open the menu.
  5. Choose “Rename dongle”
  6. Enter any name that will uniquely identify the dongle, then click Save.

Choose a short and easy name to recognize for the Naviter Bluetooth Dongle. Competition sign, glider registration or device type is a good choice in most cases.

If you choose “Gaming PC” as the new name of your Dongle, it will broadcast its name as “Naviter Gaming PC BLE” in SeeYou Navigator
