Overview of the map screen

The navigation screen is the main working screen of SeeYou Navigator, which you see during flight. It combines the map, information blocks, and warnings in one convenient interface.

How it works

The screen contains several key elements:

Map — the basis of the screen, showing your current position, route, airspace, turnpoints, and other important objects.

Navboxes — customizable information blocks located on top of the map. They display important data: speed, altitude, variometer, distance to destination, and more. You can choose what information to display and arrange the blocks as you see fit.

Alerts appear at the top of the screen when you approach airspace, obstacles, or important route events.

Indicators are additional visual elements on the map that help you navigate during flight.

The screen is too bright/dim during flight? You canadjust brightness in the device’s system settings. For quick access, pull down the notification shade and use the brightness slider.

The main Map screen has a few important areas and buttons:

Home button 

In the top left corner opens the Home page where you can choose current aircraft, change navigation target, set task and connected devices.

The Logbook and Settings buttons are located at the bottom of the screen. You can configure the application by tapping Settings.

Layers button 

Tap the navbox with the layers icon in the right top corner.

Choose map type, turn landing points, weather and Skyways and other map elements on or off.

Navboxes 

are small information panels with data. They can be moved around the screen freely. And they can be styled with color and transparency.

• Press and hold any navbox to enter edit mode
• Move and resize blocks as you see fit
• Tap anywhere outside the navboxes to finish editing
• You can create several layouts with different navboxes

The navigation screen adapts to the current situation: it automatically displays important warnings, highlights active sections of the route, and helps you focus on your flight. You can choose different map types and additional layers which are displayed on top of the map.
